It was an honor to attend the HARVEY EPSTEIN BLACK HISTORY MONTH Event, celebrating the rich culture and contributions of the Black community. From the captivating art exhibit “Long Journey Forward” curated by Howard Cash and Jamal Shabaz, to the mesmerizing dance performance by Dorill Initiative, and the powerful poetry by local TA President Sabura Rashid, the evening was filled with talent and inspiration. We also had the privilege of honoring esteemed local leaders Claude Winfield, Herman Hewitt, Murara Boniface, Ayo Harrington and Amy Taylor with a proclamation presentation. Special thanks to our amazing M.C, Ayo Harrington, for keeping the event lively and engaging.
