At yesterday evenings, @manhattancb3 Transportation, Public Safety, Sanitation & Environmental Committee meeting, agenda item @nyc_dot /Parks: LES/EV Waterfront Access Study, several of our executive committee members spoke about the poor usage of $600,000 to conduct a study where only 82 people returned their surveys. 82 people surveyed is less than 1% of the entire waterfront and even less when thinking about neighboring communities. This number should not be the used to make a massive construction decision. It was stated best by District Leader Lee Berman, the marketing and advertising of a waterfront study is deceiving, because we are not, including the trade-offs being made, less parking, more construction etc. #community#parks#waterfront#lowereastside
